The Story of Candy Coal

Our delicious cinnamon flavoured candy coal is a sweet version of the century's old Christmas folklore tradition where children placed wooden shoes by their beds or hung stockings by their chimneys on Christmas Eve anticipating a visit from St. Nicholas. The good children would awaken to find cakes, treats and Hammond's candy canes. But if the children were naughty during the year, they awoke to lumps of coal. Blue tongues and mouths are a sure way of spotting the "naughty" children!"
